Protests regarding law that protects Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu from prosecution for corruption

By Penny Hoffmann

Outside a Tel Aviv museum, a pro-democracy protest was held by Israeli opposition leaders.

This protest opposed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent re-election for his fifth term and reportedly accused him of desiring to implement legislation that protects him from prosecution for corruption.

Opposition parties stated that Netanyahu can not continue to be Israel’s prime minister if he is charged for fraud and bribery after he received allegations of corruption.

According to NBC News, on the 28th of February 2019, Netanyahu rejected allegations of corruption:

“The left applied bullish pressure, relentless, i would even say inhuman, on the attorney general in order to make him say that he is considering indicting me pending a hearing even though it’s clear there is nothing, in order to influence the elections, even though he knows this house of cards will collapse after the elections.

“Since the attorney general is just a human, the pressure of the left worked.

“I tell you the citizens of Israel, this house of cards will collapse.

“I am absolutely certain. I am certain of it 4,000 percent.

“I plan on serving you and the state as prime minister for many years.”

According to RT, “He stands accused of possible crimes against humanity because a UN independent commission has ruled that his UK armed soldiers used live ammunition to fire on 6,000 unarmed protesters without justification”.

In the UN commission of inquiry into 2018 protests, Chair Santiago Canton stated that “the commission has found reasonable grounds to believe that Israeli Security Forces committed serious violations of human rights of international humanitarian law.”

Netanyahu’s corruption allegations include:

Case 1000 Indictment

Netanyahu was accused of receiving nearly $200,000 worth of gifts, reportedly mainly boxes of cigars for “his personal use”, from wealthy businessmen in exchange for favors.

He also reportedly received bottles of champagne for his wife.

Two of these businessmen include owner of Consolidated Press Holdings Limited Australian James Packer and Israeli film producer Arnon Milchan.

Case 2000 Indictment

Netanyahu was accused of conspiring to get more news coverage in his favor by collaborating with Arnon “Noni” Mozes, the publisher of the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, in exchange for weaker legislation for the newspaper to beat a competing newspaper.

Attorney general Avichai Mandelblit stated the following, according to i24NEWS English:

“Even though you did not request and did not accept the proposal, you did not reject Moses’ proposal, but you continued to lead the matter, promoting the legislation, including ideas you raised during the election period, even though you did not intend to advance the legislation.”

Case 4000 Indictment

Case 4000 is another indictment that regards Netanyahu desiring more media coverage that is in his favor.

It is alleged that Netanyahu reportedly conspired to get “regulatory benefits for Shaul Elovich, owner of Bezeq Telecommunications Company, in exchange for favourable news coverage on his website”, according to i24NEWS English.

According to attorney general Avichai Mandelblit, “in essence, a “give and take” relationship was established between Elovich and Netanyahu:

“On the one hand, Elovich slanted the coverage in Walla to Netanyahu, in an irregular manner, so it will benefit him and companies under his control, including Bezeq, and on the other hand, Netanyahu, using his governmental and executive power in the regulatory field, to benefit Bezeq.”

Kim Jong-Un Meeting with Vladimir Putin FOR THE FIRST TIME, Kremlin Says

Russian President Vladimir Putin has formally invited North Korean President Kim Jong-Un to a meeting with him in Russia for the first time later this month, according to the Kremlin.

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov confirmed that an “invitation has been handed over.”

“We are awaiting our North Korean counterparts’ response,” he said. A date for the meeting will be confirmed after the invitation has been accepted by Jong-Un.

September 2018 Russian press reported that plans for a meeting between Kim Jong-Un and Vladimir Putin were accepted by Jong-Un, but that no meeting took place.

The meeting would be the first Russian-DPRK summit in eight years (2011, the year Jong-Un came to power), and third since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

“One of the biggest questions remaining is where exactly Kim would meet Putin,” Russian foreign policy analyst Anthony Rinna for the Sino-NK research group said.

According to news companies such as Al Jazeera, “Russia’s Izvestia newspaper cited a diplomatic source on Wednesday as saying the talks would likely be held in Russia‘s far eastern city of Vladivostok, before Putin flies on to an April 26-27 summit in China.”

Translated into English, according to the Russian news company RIA Novosti,  Jong-Un’s manager Kim Jang Sung was spotted allegedly inspecting Vladivostok station:

“FNN news service of the Japanese television company Fuji TV reported that Kim Jang Son, who is considered the manager of the DPRK leader Kim Jong-un, was spotted on Wednesday near the railway station in Vladivostok, which may indicate that the head of the North Korean state was preparing for it. On the FNN website, a photograph of Kim Jong Sung was posted near the Vladivostok station, allegedly examining the surroundings for the preparation of Kim Jong Un’s visit.

“They haven’t yet been informed about the reinforcement of the security regime, but they have told everyone that it is necessary to be alert in connection with the imminent arrival of Koreans… We can not confirm, as well as to refute. We have no right to talk about it,” said the deputy head of Vladivostok station.”

PROOF: Democrats are working with social media companies to try and harm the 2020 Trump re-election and the Conservative and Alt-Right movement

By Penny Hoffmann

In a paper classed as private and confidential, titled “Democracy Matters: Strategic Plan For Action”, Media Matters, American Bridge, CREW, and Shareblue are all actively fighting against right-wing misinformation, and social media platforms such as Facebook and Google have agreed to be their allies.

In the document, the current hurdles for the goal are highlighted. An analysis of their opposition, what Shareblue and their associates have already accomplished to get to this goal, and what is promised for the future are detailed. Their mission began in 2017 and will last for four years, up until Trump runs for presidency again in 2020.

The document even highlighted how they got Facebook to support their plans:

“During the 2016 election, Facebook refused to do anything about the dangerous rise of fake news or even acknowledge their role in promoting disinformation: Mark Zuckerberg called the notion that fake news is a problem “crazy”. In November, we launched a campaign pressuring Facebook to: 1) acknowledge the problem of the proliferation of fake news on Facebook and its consequences for our democracy and 2) commit to taking action to fix the problem. As a result of our push for accountability, Zuckerberg did both. Our campaign was covered by prominent national political, business, and tech media outlets, and we’ve been engaging with Facebook leadership behind the scenes to share our expertise and offer input on developing meaningful solutions.”

This is what Media Matters and their associates have already accomplished:

“Media Matters has already secured access to raw data from Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites. We have also put in place the technology neccessary to automatically mine white nationalist message boards and alt-right communities for our archive. We will now develop technologies and processes to systematically monitor and analyze this unfiltered data.”

“Our digital efforts were largely focused on changing the narrative with the traditional media versus voters. This worked to a point but wasn’t enough in the face of a news media incentivised by profit and access and fearful of intimidation and bullying by the Trump forces.”

“In 2016, a full two-thirds of Facebook users used the platform to get news. Facebook’s algorithm fuels confirmation bias by feeding content from outlets that tell the users what they want to hear. Fake news purveyors exploited this vulnerability. Fake news purveyors exploited this vulnerability for profit and political influence.”

The paper also provided a “competitive analysis” whereby their rivals and the threats they pose were highlighted. Their competition is right-wing media, but more specifically: the Conservative Media Research Center, Breitbart, Steve Bannon, and Donald Trump (obviously) and his Trump TV.

Here is what the paper said about Breitbart, for example:

“Breitbart, which has received millions in funding from extremest billionaires close to the Trump administration, provides a nexus point in the so-called alt-right (the newest branding for American white nationalism, anti-Semitism, and misogyny) to exploit vulnerabilities throughout the media landscape. With a powerful ally in the White House (former chief executive Steve Bannon will be Trump’s chief strategist), Breitbart plans to export its brand of anti-establishment racism on a global scale.”

Media Matters lists what their top outcomes are and what they will “focus on achieving” in the next four years, which began in 2017:

“In the next four years, Media Matters will continue its core mission of disarming right-wing misinformation, while leading the fight against the next generation of conservative disinformation: The proliferation of fake news and propaganda now threatening the country’s information ecosystem.”

“- Serial misinformers and right-wing propagandists inhabiting everything from social media to the highest levels of government will be exposed, discredited. Journalists, activists, allies, politicians, and the general public will routinely utilize and weaponize our research products to understand and take action against the changing media ecosystem and the extremists seeking to manipulate it. We will continue to break engagement records and dramatically expand and diversify our reach by presenting our research in multiple formats on a variety of platforms. Key right-wing targets will see their influence diminish as a result of our work.

– Internet and social media platforms, like Google and Facebook, will no longer uncritically and without consequence host and enrich fake news sites and propagandists. Social media companies will engage with us over their promotion of the fake news industry. Facebook will adjust its model to stem the flow of damaging fake news on its platform’s pages. Google will cut off these pages’ accompanying sites’ access to revenue by pulling their access to Google’s ad platform.

– Toxic alt-right social media-fueled harassment campaigns that silence dissent and poison our national discourse will be punished and halted. Hundreds and thousands of activists will join our campaigns to push back on alt-right harassment. Key alt-right figures will lose credibility and influence in response to our research and pressure.”

American Bridge, a participant for this plan, is given orders that aim to make it “the epicenter of Democrats’ work to regain power”. It has three goals that will be in favor of the Democrats:

“American Bridge will cement itself as the standard-bearer of opposition research, build on its role as a progressive clearinghouse for information that drives the narrative on Republican officeholders and candidates, and be at the epicenter of Democrats’ work to regain power – starting in 2017 and building to 2020. Here’s what success will look like:

– Trump will be defeated either through impeachment or at the ballot box in 2020.

– The balance of power will shift back to democrats. We will measurably impact US Senate, gubernatorial, and state legislative races.

– We will free ourselves from solely relying on the press. Our robust digital program will reach voters directly online.”

CREW is another participant in the plan to get Trump out of office. Crew has four goals that will aid in doing so:

“CREW will be the leading nonpartisan ethics watchdog group in a period of crisis with a president and administration that present possible conflicts of interest and ethical problems on an unprecedented scale. CREW will demand ethical conduct from the administration and all parts of government, expose improper influence from powerful interests, and ensure accountability when the administration and others shirk ethical standards, rules, and laws.
Here’s what success will look like:

– Trump will be afflicted by a steady flow of damaging information, new revelations, and an inability to avoid conflicts issues.

– The Trump administration will be forced to defend illegal conduct in court.

– Powerful industries and interest groups will see their influence wane.

– Dark money will be a political liability in key states.”

Shareblue, another participant, is planning to replace Conservative influence on social media with influence from Democrats instead. They plan to harm Trump’s presidency by “emboldening the opposition and empowering the majority of Americans who oppose him”. Shareblue has five goals in order to aid Media Matters’ plan:

“- Shareblue will become the de facto news outlet for opposition leaders and the grassroots.

– Trump allies will be forced to step down or change course due to news published by Shareblue.

– Under pressure from Shareblue, Democrats will take more aggressive positions against Trump.

– Shareblue will achieve financial stability while diversifying content offerings and platforms.

– Top editorial and writing talent will leave competitors to join Shareblue.”

Media Matters is against “even the slightest bit of normalization of Trump”. Funnily enough, Media Matters plans to resist Trump’s authoritarianism by utilizing authoritarianism themselves by means of, for example, collaborating with social platforms in order to remove what they deem as “fake news”. Thus, authoritarianism, in their eyes, is fine if they themselves do it:

“We are going to fight for the things in which we believe, and we are going to fight against any attempt to erode the cornerstone work and values of the progressive movement and this pluralistic nation… Media Matters will be vigilant in holding news media accountable for even the slightest bit of normalization of Trump. We will encourage journalists to defend standard practices, like the protective press pool and media credentialing, and strive for higher standards against this threat… we are going to resist the normalization of Donald Trump. His every conflict of interest, his every bit of cronyism, his every move towards authoritarianism, his every subversion of our democratic systems and principles, his every radical departure from foreign and domestic policy norms… we are going to contest every effort, at every level of government, to limit rights, rescind protections, entrench inequality, redistribute wealth upwards, or in any other way fundamentally undermine the tenets of egalitarianism that must serve as the bedrock of our democracy.”

Predictive technology, collaborating with social media platforms, omnichannel communications, and a massive grassroots truth squad are all methods Media Matters will use to monitor fake news. Predictive technology will allow individuals and outlets who participate in fake news, misinformation, and harassment, to be identified by Media Matters.

Here is what content Media Matters also corrects:

“Media Matters’ issue teams are focused on correcting misinformation on: gun violence and public safety, LGBT equality, reproductive health and gender equality, climate and energy, and economic policy.”

FAKE NEWS: An In-Depth Analysis of the Role of the Media and it’s Corruption

By Penny Hoffmann

The media has a huge responsibility as they shape public opinion and affects history. By reporting on or ignoring events, the media contributes to the historical record. Fake news can lead to uprisings that may not even be necessary because the problem doesn’t exist.

In the words of famous author George Orwell in his novel 1984:

“Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.”

Sadly, many are unaware as to how the media works. Critical thinking in relation to the media, particularly in terms of how information is collected and reported on, needs to be encouraged.

In historian Louis Gottschalk’s book titled “Understanding History”, the information collection process is explained:

“Only a part of what was observed in the past has been remembered by those who observed it; only a part of what was remembered was recorded; only a part of what was recorded has survived; only a part of what has survived has come to the historian’s attention; only a part of what has come to their attention is credible; only a part of what is credible has been grasped; and only a part of what has been grasped can be expounded or narrated by the author.”

Prerecorded interviews have many advantages that mostly benefit the media. Editing quotes in interviews makes news reporting flow better and makes those involved look better, but nonetheless it manipulates what people have said. Important points can be left out.

An example of the media editing quotes via prerecorded interviews includes Isaac Butterfield’s interview on The Project in New Zealand.

Isaac Butterfield, an Australian YouTuber and comedian, featured on The Project New Zealand after Facebook took down his video, ‘The Actual Difference Between Australia and New Zealand’, because it was deemed to be racist.

In the interview, Isaac mentions the comedic nature of his video:

“These were polite jabs at the beautiful country of New Zealand.”

One of the hosts tried to dramatize Butterfield’s original video by asking if his content is suitable for his seven-year-old daughter:

“Do you target a specific audience, Isaac? I mean, do you worry who sees the videos? Would it be suitable for my seven-year-old daughter for instance?”

This was Butterfield’s response:

“Ah certainly not. But you as a parent should be in control of what your seven-year-old is watching. There’s far worse things on the internet than poor bearded old me.”

Isaac, in his YouTube video response, discussed the problem with prerecorded interviews; the footage can be edited to make the hosts and anyone the media likes have a better reputation:

“Now you may be wondering… that lady called me a jerk and i just said ‘thanks guys’ and smiled politely. That’s not how it actually happened, that’s an edit. I did hit her back with something, some type of joke, i can’t remember. I should have recorded it just for these type of purposes but, this is the thing with TV, is that they can edit it to make them look fantastic.”

Butterfield also discussed speaking time limits and how they do not capture the interviewee’s full view:

“So there’s a few things that annoyed me about that, was the way they spoke about me when i was off there and didn’t actually let me speak my mind on those certain subjects. Only having a minute and thirty seconds to get my point across… that’s just never going to happen.”

Before these interview even occur, those involved are told what they can and can’t say.

an Australian YouTuber known as “FriendlyJordies”, political commentator and comedian, called out the mainstream media and corporations masquerading as media for making irrelevant jokes and dodging important situations that nations face.

“You know what the media doesn’t do a lot of reporting on? Things that matter. Things that could affect, to quote that German Springfield historian, “you and your children and your children’s children.”

Newspaper journalism is also clearly not exempt from editing. During interviews, notes are either recorded via audio or a notepad. Newspapers are usually heavily structured in terms of the placement of photos, the word limit for the title, byline and general information, for aesthetic purposes. Editors review the articles that their journalists write and make the final alterations before publishing occurs.

To elaborate further, photos are placed in a sequence in order to prevent your eyes from running off the page. Poses by the interviewees for photos (smiles, handshakes, positioning of flags), camera angle, tweaking of photos via Photoshop for example, and choice of background all usually suit the desires of the writer and editor.

It is important to recognize corruption in the media because of it’s important role it has in regards to the historical record. It is usually difficult for beginner journalists to get media jobs, and, because of this, job seekers will sometimes do anything just to have some experience. This means that they can be subject to fraud.

In Queensland, the Federal Circuit Court ordered Touchpoint Media to pay $570,000 as they underpaid twenty three journalists.

Judge Tony Young stated this in his judgement:

“I am satisfied that there was an element of exploitation involved with young employees that would have been less likely to occur with older or more experienced employees.”

Some media companies may not even feature work experience journalists when it comes to photo credit or article drafting, so the author of the article could be the journalist who worked with the work experience student.

The media can be restricted in terms of what they can report on by the government. People who work for the government can even infiltrate the media. People from intelligence agencies have, in the past, employed journalists to collect information from media companies, and sometimes even disseminate misinformation to lead the public astray. This has happened in the US, for example (Operation Mockingbird) where reportedly three dozen American newsmen were either on the payroll or worked in some sort of contract relationship with the CIA beginning from 1973.

On April 27, 1996, the former CIA director who reported on this, William Colby, was found dead in the water after a canoe trip at Rock Point, Maryland. His death was reportedly “accidental”.

The media can even have a really important topic to discuss but not realize its importance by asking interviewees irrelevant questions. For example, Australian Labor politician Bill Shorten’s interview on The Project Australia.

Throughout the interview, Shorten was bringing up serious points, such as this one:

“What people want from me, and what people want from politics in general, is focus on policies that help everyday people.”

But what did one host respond with?

“But, hypothetically, would you think of putting heat lamps in the bathroom?”

Shorten only had less than three minutes to discuss how he is “trying to work out how to avoid another big wipeout, after the Liberals were crushed at the Victorian state election”. Why does irrelevant nonsense need to cut his time to speak? He has an important role as a politician; he helps to run the nation of Australia.

Here is another example of Shorten being asked useless questions during the interview:

Shorten: “Tell you what, the numbers on me were the same before the state election as they are now. But we’re doing pretty well. We’re doing well because we focus on people. More and more i’ve decided between now and the election, talk less about the government and more about the people. People just want us to get on with our jobs, and when your kids can’t get an apprenticeship, or your kids in their twenties and thirties are trying to buy their first home and they haven’t got enough for the deposit because the price of housing is high-”

Female host: “What about the'”

Shorten: “That’s what people are worried about, right?”

Female host: “Mr Shorten, well, what about your sausage eating style? Could that play into it? I mean…”

Some, maybe most or all mainstream media companies have access to police radio transmissions. This is to hear live events such as accidents, which is why the media knows where to arrive in order to cover them. The media is allowed to access this audio to check if emergency services are doing their jobs properly, but also to cover crimes done by the public.

There is a large problem with sponsor-media relations in regards to advertising. Sponsors pay media companies if their products are promoted via advertisement sections in newspapers, on the radio, and in television programs. The media benefits from it’s sponsors because they are their only source of income.

YouTuber FriendlyJordies called out Buzzfeed for not reporting on their own sponsor, Streets Icecream, cutting staff wages:

“When earlier this year Streets Icecream attempted to halve it’s staffs wages, which, thanks to the Liberal party is like chicks dying their hair pastel colours, what happened to the workers at Street’s Icecream could now happen to anyone on the wage, and Buzzfeed refused to report on it because Street’s Icecream sponsors Buzzfeed.”

When showing an article titled “Buzzfeed Crew Shocked to Discover They Have Testosterone Level of a 12-Year-Old Boy (Video)”, FriendlyJordies exposes the corruption mentioned above that many media organisations are guilty of doing, by responding with this:

“Think about how amoral these testosterone-deprived gollums must be when they willingly and consistently withhold information of that magnitude from their readers for money.”

This leads to the following question: who owns the media? The owners are not journalists themselves, or the editors who edit the articles, but rather sponsors who have the power to affect what is reported on via capitalism. Other than sponsors, the law also regulates what the media can and can’t do, but if media companies are subject to corporate powers such as the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA), they are protected more.

Rupert Murdoch is an American-Australian media mogul. As the CEO of News Corp, Murdoch controls a media empire comprised of Fox News, The Times of London and The Wall Street Journal. These are just some of the many media companies.

Fact or Fiction: A List of Conspiracies, Conspiracy Theories and Phrases Relating to Them

By Penny Hoffmann

Many people enjoy a thriller, some even a horror; but what if the same scenarios that cause us to sit on the edge of our seat, hold our breath, or cry silently or out loud encapsulate our reality?

“Waking up” from the lulling of society is gradual and heart-wrenching. It leads to one questioning academia, governments, figures, and much of what one was unaware of when travelling this path we call life. In a world full of deception and suffering, it can be difficult to distinguish between what is fact and what is fiction. Those who want to further deceit and suffering for their own personal gain will muddy the waters in an attempt to prevent truth seekers from discovering and sharing the treasure hidden deep beneath the surface. Sometimes this treasure is located in shallow water, but the only way to discover the depth of the deception is to inch in. Jumping is too risky depending on the muddiness. It could be fatal. When we explore, fufilling the curious nature of humanity, we strip ourselves of our assumptions and replace these with a solid foundation, altering much of our identity.

I have noticed that, when discussing conspiracies and conspiracy theories, the two phrases are sometimes mistakenly used interchangeably. There is a difference between conspiracies and conspiracy theories. When an event is classed as a conspiracy, it means it actually took place, whereas a conspiracy theory is exactly what it suggests; it is a theory. It has not been proven.

Some are so overwhelmed by the scale of knowledge they wonder where to start their research. To make this process easier, here is an exhaustive list of conspiracies, conspiracy theories, and relative phrases.

Youtube’s SJW Agenda: Forced Diversity in New Karate Kid Series

By Nikos Tsinakis

Last week, the highly anticipated sequel to the much loved 80’s Karate Kid series was released in the form of a premium streaming show on YouTube – “Cobra Kai”  As some of us may have expected, due to the fact that Youtube and it’s parent company Google have had a long history of promoting and harbouring a massive leftist bias, they’ve wasted no time in injecting SJW ideas in their hot new subscription-based Youtube Red show. The show’s premise is set thirty years after the events of 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, the series focuses on Johnny Lawrence reopening the Cobra Kai dojo, which causes his rivalry with Daniel LaRusso to be reignited. This engaging story unfolds as we are introduced to a painfully forced “diverse” cast featuring a Hispanic teenager as the main protagonist along with his group of friends featuring an obese mulatto girl, a Jewish boy, and a Russian kid with some type of autism. Now I know, this story is set in California but even then, this cast does not remotely represent the average demographic of Los Angeles. One must wonder when will this trend of grossly over representing minorities in the mainstream entertainment industry will die off.

Right off the bat, we as the audience got the chance to familiarize ourselves with main character Johnny Lawrence, the antagonist from the first Karate Kid movie. Once a menacing school bully, jock and popular kid, now he’s just a washed up middle aged American guy with a set of more than typical problems that many people can relate to, working odd jobs just to pay his child support/alimony while living in a subpar apartment where the most basic utilities don’t work. I must admit, Johnny(Played by William Zabka) was undisputedly the highlight of this 10 part mini-series as the villain-turned-hero narrative of his manages to keep me engaged over the constant underlying reminders of political correctness. Although a common theme does become established as our hero begins his journey to self-discovery and reopens the iconic “Cobra Kai” Karate Gym, Johnny’s macho 80’s male mentality starts to conflict with our contemporary society’s values where everyone is oversensitive and should be policed in order to use words carefully so no one’s feelings would get hurt. This is evident when he called his young Karate students as “pussies and losers” for not willing to get rough and receive punches to the face as a necessary step to get better in this art of combat. It all starts to go a little downhill, however, when his character progression causes him to lose aspects of his “toxic masculinity” as he realises he was being too harsh on his students( so much for the “no mercy” Cobra Kai motto) because, in this day and age, you’re just not suppose to be an alpha male that says what he wants and still be a likeable protagonist.

A good example of forced diversity: The high school bully happens to be a skinny and awkward Asian kid, seriously???

05d8d7999a084fa27a5a38c5c97702fc
If you must cast a non-white character, at least have someone with the stature and build of a football player. Just goes to show that, when hiring actors solely for the purpose to fulfill a racial quota instead of the actor’s merit, it has an extremely adverse effect on the storytelling and the audience’s immersion to it. This is an issue in Hollywood that spans across smaller production like this as well as big budget billion-dollar box-office movies such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

It is still possible for anyone to dive into this show and fulfill their childhood nostalgia while obtaining a pleasurable viewing experience if they so choose to turn off their ears at whenever preachy moments about “equality” and “tolerance” began to sprout up. This is where I’d suggest you readers to check out Youtube Red’s offering of a 30-day free trial which can be canceled immediately after you’re done with the show.

In the end, we as the consumers of these manufactured entertainment mediums must stand up to Hollywood’s SJW cultural Marxist agenda. A bottom line has to be drawn to show that we are not willing to swallow every bit of leftist propaganda they’ve been shoving down our throats. Youtube’s Premium streaming service is named “Red”, you know what else is Red? Communism. Coincidence? I think not.

Daily Domestic – 7 Down

By William Prophett

Every day, you wake up and do your daily routine. You kick off the remaining sock, brush your teeth, and at some point you read some sort of information to kick start your brain. But do you ever stop to look at the content you are hearing or watching? Do you ever question the interests of the folks putting that information in front of your eyes? I would and have bet my own life on this, the fact is, we as a country don’t pay close enough attention to who we allow to influence us.

We promise you that this column will only present facts and data of the opinions of others. My intent is simple and obvious, to maintain your attention and to make you smarter. With that said, welcome to the Crime and Terrorism brief.

Today the FBI released a firm statement of Indictment of seven individuals in this April 2018 Federal Grand Jury. With crimes from Sexual Exploitation of a Child; Enticement of a Minor; Receipt of Child Pornography; Possession of Child Pornography, to re-entry of a previously deported illegal, this was yet another clear cut case of the good guys against some of the worst people on Earth.

Thanks to United States Attorney R. Trent Shores, Juan Luis, AtaydeLuis, German Beltran-Quintero, Justin Lee Boyer, Tracy Allen Crawford, Logan Philip Davis, Larry O. Douglas, Jr, Thadeus Michael Horn. Tyrone Lee, Jerry Lee Manus, Elijah Kai Marler, Gerardo Regalado-Cuevas, Harvey Joseph Stephens, Jr, Curtis Dewayne Townsend, Rosendo Valdovinos-Garcia, Ady Yesinia Oscal, Jennifer Barraza-GarciaKong Meng Vang, and Erick Viveros were all carried to justice on a silver platter.

The FBI for the northern District of Oklahoma says,

‘This substantial group of indictments represents a wide range of federal offenses, including complex white collar, immigration, and large-scale drug trafficking crimes.  Several Project Safe Neighborhood cases involving violent crimes and firearms violations appear prominently also. “These indictments reflect the hard work of the dedicated federal prosecutors and support staff of the United States Attorney’s Office who are tirelessly committed to enforcing federal law and protecting the public whom they serve,” said United States Attorney Shores.

The following individuals have been charged with violations of United States law in indictments returned by the Grand Jury. The return of an indictment is a method of informing a defendant of alleged violations of federal law, which must be proven in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt to overcome a defendant’s presumption of innocence.’ April 16, 2018 – Justice.gov

So, just to be clear, we are talking about individuals involved in foreign drug and other criminal operations here on American soil. I can assure you that this will be a prime focus of this column, to tell the truth about a problem the government caused, and is dealing with at a dramatically increasing rate. A common myth among some is that the feds don’t care, but that I consider to be more of a political and psychological warfare problem that the feds will ultimately have to confront. And let’s be clear… I’ve carried a gun alongside retired federal agents, I know why these men and women do what they do. They wake up, serve, shave and sleep. Trust me, the armed mafia is more of an unofficial thing that becomes a problem with Veterans who are bored and back home. Which is another topic for another day.

Of the list of take-downs, this one stuck-out the most to me because of his clear and obvious racketeering behavior patterns. According to the bureau, ‘Larry O. Douglas, Jr.  Tampering With a Witness, Victim, and Informant by Physical Force and Threats of Physical Force; Tampering With a Witness, Victim, and Informant by Intimidation, Threats, and Corrupt Persuasion, and Misleading Conduct.  Douglas, 44, address unknown, is charged with physically beating a victim, and for providing the victim with support, affection and material goods in order to persuade against and prevent her from communicating to law enforcement of his commission of a Federal offense.  If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of life in prison and a $250,000 fine for the Tampering With a Witness, Victim, and Informant by Physical Force and Threats of Physical Force charge, and a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the Tampering With a Witness, Victim, and Informant by Intimidation, Threats, and Corrupt Persuasion, and Misleading Conduct charge.  The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Tulsa Police Department are the investigative agencies.’ April 16, 2018 – Justice.gov

Another big ‘baller’ in the group was Elijah Marler, who was accused of possession of cocaine with the intent to sell, possession of firearm and controlled substances, felon in possession of a firearm, and ammunition. These are the sort of issues that stack up when our political system ignores a flawed correctional industry. I suppose we all do ride the gravy train of intent. Proposals from tougher military justice policy to banning weaponry have been affronted, which really doesn’t leave much room for debate as the second Amendment to the Constitution protects the rights of Americans to ban weaponry. Some are of the opinion that more laws won’t help. Please let us know your thoughts, so we can propose something of reason.

Groups of people with no plans to follow the laws or any sort of ethical code of conduct are both harder to reach, and harder to stop. However, with a community of Americans who care about their country, their planet, and what we allow to influence our children, we can stop any evil.

We are not talking about people who would kill you and I for nothing, just to check if we had ten dollars on us. What we are looking at is an organized, criminal, militant front that is clearly looking to expand its power within the true sanctuary of the United States of America. I for one am happy to see our officials doing something about it, as I would mention, under a Republican administration and Congress.

Xi Jingping Takes Direct Control Over China’s Media and Entertainment Sector

By Stefan M. Kløvning

Beijing, Media – Following the Chinese President Xi Jingping’s landslide victory with the Chinese Congress voting 2958 to 2 for his term limits to be removed, the Chinese government – or more aptly described, the Communist Party of China – has in a recent Congressional meeting proposed to abolish the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT), and will instead put the State Council (China’s presidential cabinet) in charge of media production and censorship.

SAPPRFT was formed in March 2013 as a combination of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) and the General Administration of Press and Publication. It was the main regulatory body overlooking the media and entertainment industry until now, where the control will be transferred directly into the hands of President Jinping.

It’s worthy to take note of how serious the Chinese government is about censorship to fully understand the significance of this move. Take for instance the American employee Roy Jones, who worked a night shift at a social media job for the multinational hotel-chain Marriott International in Omaha, Nebraska. He was responsible for the company’s Twitter account, and used his working hours reviewing and liking tweets which could boost the company’s social media presence and influence. On this particular night shift, however, he liked a tweet by a group called ‘Friends of Tibet’:

Seems harmless, right? ‘Wrong!’ says the Chinese government, who responded to Marriott International by shutting down reservations to 300 of their hotels in China for a week. They did so because they deemed Friends of Tibet to be an unacceptable Tibetan seperatist group and that the tweet honored Tibet, Hong Kong and Taiwan to be listed as seperate countries instead of all being included as the People’s Republic of China.

Another illustration is their radically protectionist policies to “protect” their industries from foreign competition (especially Western). They most notably have what they call the “Great Firewall,” which prohibits Western websites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, etc. These policies have been the foundation of two of the ten most valuable companies in the world: Tencent Holdings Ltd. and Alibaba Holding Ltd. These companies have been predicted to draw scrutiny if US President Donald Trump escalate his recently imposed steel and aluminium tariffs into a full blown trade war. This is why the Chinese tech giants show support for President Jinping’s policies instead of questioning the administration’s censorship.

Victor Shih, a University of California at San Diego associate professor who studies the interaction between China’s elite an politics claimed that, ‘a close working relationship with China is part of the business model for companies like Tencent,’ adding that ‘the fact that Google, Facebook and others can’t be in China basically affords these tech companies a domestic oligopoly, which compels and incentivizes these companies to work closely with the Chinese government.’

American news agency Bloomberg reports that the government has in the last year imposed strict regulations on how data can be shared, and stored, introduced criminal sanctions for people breaking its new cybersecurity law, cracking down virtual private networks to bypass restrictive web filters, and put fines on companies who doesn’t ‘meet national standards.’ The news agency also wrote that the government takes significance use of tech in their censorship, forcing companies like Tencent and Weibo to clean their websites for everything from pornographic material to criticism of the party.

The decision of the Chinese Congress to take over control over censorship of the nation’s media and entertainment sector therefore becomes significant, as it’s not merely telling them what to do, but that the State Council does whatever it wants to itself, extending the power of the Communist party over the country. USC professor Stanley Rosely recently commented on President Jinping’s advances toward extending his power, saying that the abolishment of his term limit ‘reverses the attempts of Deng Xiaoping in 1982 and after to separate the Party from the Government and avoid the installation of a future Mao-type leader who can rule completely unchecked.’
