If one desires to communicate something essential to others, but not to one’s enemy, concealing the message is important. Only those who are educated on the context of the message can truly understand it.
There are many ways that humans communicate and understand each other. These include; verbal methods such as via audio (such as speech face-to-face or on radios); non-verbal methods such as via signs, symbols, eye contact, tone, and text.
Improper usage of punctuation, spelling, tone, definitions, and other facets that relate to the context of dialogues or monologues by the sender will negatively impact the message for the receiver. Improper communication can be and is adopted by those who deliberately or accidentally hide the truth from others.
The term “symbol” is defined by Oxford Living Dictionaries as “a mark or character used as a conventional representation of an object, function, or process, e.g. the letter or letters standing for a chemical element or a character in musical notation.” Symbols that were created long, long ago are still used to this day, whose meanings may not be understood by most of the humans of today.
German indologist and linguist Heinrich Zimmer states in his book Signs and Symbols that a symbol is “a visual image or sign representing an idea — a deeper indicator of a universal truth”, and elaborates further:
“Concepts and words are symbols, just as visions, rituals, and images are; so too are the manners and customs of daily life. Through all of these a transcendent reality is mirrored. There are so many metaphors reflecting and implying something which, though thus variously expressed, is ineffable, though thus rendered multiform, remains inscrutable. Symbols hold the mind to truth but are not themselves the truth, hence it is delusory to borrow them. Each civilisation, every age, must bring forth its own.”
One theory that is debated by many is that Ancient Egypt, being the earliest known location to have built the foundations for anatomical science, named parts of the human body after astrology. This, if true, was most-likely from Egyptian religious influence:
“The overwhelming majority of Egyptologists seem to not be familiar with the details of the age-old Hindu tradition surrounding the Third Eye. It should, therefore, come as no surprise that they seem largely unaware of the Third Eye’s central importance in the Egyptian religion.
The Third Eye is a key concept in Hinduism’s Kundalini Yoga, which teaches initiates to “balance” or “unify” our lunar ida left-bodily side with our solar pingala right-bodily side.
This “balance” or “unity” of our twin opposing natures makes us whole again—just as the balance or unity of China’s twin opposing Yin and Yang halves completes the perfect circle.
This “balance” or “unity” also awakens a serpentine power, which rises up our spine (through seven invisible “chakras” or energy centers) and activates a Third Eye hidden in our foreheads.”
Thus, things that may seem like they aren’t symbolic may have hidden meanings that are known by only those who understand the message properly.
Secrets are valuable for many reasons; to name a few, secrets protect and reveal identities, reputations, build and break apart relationships, and prevent justice or injustice. But secrets conceal the truth, and truth is the remedy to much of the world’s problems.
On February 12th at the National Assembly in Paris, the French Parliament voted on a bill passed by president Emmanuel Macron (REM party). The bill banishes the words “mother” and “father” from official paperwork in the education system to tackle discrimination against same-sex parents. A child’s document will refer to parent 1 and parent 2 instead of the traditional format. President of the AFDH, the French association for same sex parents (D) Alexandre Urwicz questions “who is ‘parent 1’ and who is ‘parent 2’?” He also says it could create a hierarchy among parents.
The passing of the bill has angered many conservatives and Christians as reported by RT, who argue that the bill sends out a signal of the country lacking morals. The bill currently does not have the support of some liberals and the education Minister, Jean Michel Blanquer. Conservative, Mp Xavier Breton said ”When I hear people say this is an old fashioned model, I would remind people that today among unions celebrated, civil or marital, some 95% are man-woman couples”. Also Conservative, Fabien Di Filippo denounced the move and said it was a “frightening ideology”.
This is not an occurrence only happening in Europe but also around the world and rapidly in America. On February 14th 2019, Democratic Reps Judy Chu (CA-27) and Andy Levin ( MI-09) introduced the Equal Dignity for Married Taxpayers Bill that would remove gendered language. According to them the bill would greatly affirm the dignity of the LGBTQ married couples. This new Bill according to those in favor ‘is to advance America’s stance towards equal protection and inclusion under the law. Congresswoman Judy Chu says “Tax filing is often difficult enough already without also making LGBTQ families feel prejudiced against”. “This is a simple common sense fix that acknowledges LGBTQ couples as equals. The Supreme Court has recognized that love is love, no matter your gender identity. It’s time our tax code does the same.” says Chu.
The Assembly Concurrent Resolution 260 (ACR 260) was won in a bipartisan vote of 7-0 and was authored by Assembly member Evan Low (D-Silicon Valley), who is also Chair of the California Legislative LGBT Caucus. The ACR 260 was also co-authored by all of the members of the California Legislative LGBT Caucus. Assembly member Evan Low also stated “California is home to the largest LGBTQ population in the country, many of whom identify as non-binary,”. “By using gender-neutral pronouns in legislation and policies moving forward, the State of California celebrates its non-binary community.” The ACR 260 pressures the state to be more inclusive for transgender, gender neutral and non-binary individuals by adopting the use of gender-neutral pronouns. This also includes the removal of California’s legal and traditional gendered language pronouns “he” and “she.” Since many citizens do not identify with binary gender definitions they find themselves feeling removed from the concept of gender entirely.
Canada has participated in this same movement when in June of 2017 they passed the C-16 Bill. It was also added to a section of the Criminal Code that targets hate speech — defined as advocating genocide and the public incitement of hatred — where it joins other identifiable groups. The bill enshrines the rights of transgender Canadians by including them under human rights and hate-crime laws. Critics voiced concerns that the law will penalize citizens who do not use specific pronouns when referring to gender diverse people. Brenda Cossman, law professor at the University of Toronto and director of the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies, stated “The misuse of gender pronouns, without more, cannot rise to the level of a crime,”. “It cannot rise to the level of advocating genocide, inciting hatred, hate speech or hate crimes … (it) simply cannot meet the threshold.”
In an article from the New York Times, they stated that Employers and landlords who intentionally and consistently ignore using pronouns such as “ze/hir” to refer to transgender workers and tenants who request them — may be subject to fines as high as $250,000. This has much to do with the passing of the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act in New York. The Commission on Human Rights’ legal guidelines mandate that anyone who is providing jobs or housing must use the individuals’ preferred gender pronouns. As the regulations which have now been updated, point out that some transgender individuals prefer to use pronouns other than he/him/his or she/her/hers.
October 2017th, California Gov. Jerry Brown signed legislation against health care workers who “willfully and repeatedly” decline to use a senior transgender patient’s ‘preferred name or pronouns’. Those who refuse to change their vocabulary and use the pronouns preferred by these individuals could face punishments ranging from a fine to jail time under a newly signed law. Harvard and Duke Graduate, Democratic state Sen. Scott Wiener, has argued adamantly that nobody is going to be criminally prosecuted for using the wrong pronoun. Sen. Scott says “It’s just more scare tactics by people who oppose all LGBT civil rights and protections,”. Yet the Legislation has been passed, in other words as a “scare tactic” as said by Democratic Sen. Scott Wiener. One opponent of the law, the California Family Council’s Greg Burt said to the California Assembly Judiciary Committee in August “How can you believe in free speech, but think the government can compel people to use certain pronouns when talking to others?”, according to CBN News.
Not only are pronouns under attack but so are businesses who refuse to comply with the demands of the LGBTQ community. As many may remember, Jack Phillips the Christian man who refused to bake a cake for a Gay Couple also returned to sue the state in August 2018 for their attempts at forcing him to bake a Gender transition cake. Jack, owner of the Masterpiece Cakeshop in Denver claimed that Colorado officials are on a “crusade to crush” him because of his religious beliefs according to a federal lawsuit filed. Jack Phillips won his case, when he wouldn’t bake a cake for a same sex marriage v. the State of Colorado Civil Rights Commission.
Does it end at small businesses? No, also Chik-Fil-A has had its quarrels with the LGBTQ community in the past. When the Christian Fast Food Giant decided that within the next 5 years they’ll open 15 stores in Toronto, LGBT+ rights advocates said they planned to boycott the chain. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey also came under fire on Twitter after revealing he ate at Chik-Fil-A during LGBTQ+ pride month. In 2012, Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy had a huge backlash after Cathy told the Baptist Press the company was “guilty as charged” for supporting “the biblical definition of the family unit.” “We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles,” Cathy said. The companies controversial Christian stance on marriage has became the forefront reasons as to why the LGBTQ community advocates are against the chain. The outcome of the controversy was neither win or loss, as Chick-fil-A’s sales rose up by 12%, to $4.6 billion. Regardless, Chick-fil-A released a statement in July 2012 on their Facebook Page stating, “Going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena”. Not all in the LGBTQ community engaged in the bashing of The Chains Religious beliefs.
Who decides that sexual preference or gender identity is more important than religious rights and the freedom of speech? Not only is speech and businesses being legally affected by LGBTQ’s fight for equality but the Church and Education System as well. In December of 2018 The city of Austin, Texas defended the lack of a religious exemption for churches in its new LGBT anti-discrimination law. This was in response to a lawsuit by the church, arguing that the law “reflects our values and culture.” This law would ultimately force churches to hire homosexual and transgender employees, if not then face fines or jail time. “Nondiscrimination is a core value in Austin and we need to defend it,” Austin Mayor Steve Adler told KXAN-TV. President Dave Welch of the US Pastor Council Chapter warned that if the ordinance is enforced, it will be just a matter of time before protections of the First Amendment collapse in the US. He told the Christian Action Network “it’s time for churches across the country to stand and fight”. Welch noted that ‘Christians can’t wait and watch on this issue, because this puts the church at large at a disadvantage’… “In the past, we have too often waited and watched from the sidelines, silent,” Welch told CAN. “We decided that – that is not possible anymore, that’s not acceptable.”
December of 2018th in WEST POINT, Va. — A Virginia high school teacher refused to use a transgender student’s new pronouns and was fired from his job. Over the summer, the ninth-grade student’s family informed the school system of the student’s gender transition to male. They did not imply that the 47-year-old West Point High School French teacher deliberately referred to the student as a female in the student’s presence, but in conversations with others. Witnesses described that the teacher had a “slip-up” when the student was about to run into a wall and Vlaming told others to stop “her.” When confronted about the incident by administrators, Vlaming made it clear he would not use male pronouns for the student, a stance that led to his suspension referral and disciplinary action. The West Point School Board voted unanimously to dismiss Peter Vlaming after a four-hour hearing. The student was not involved in the hearing. The school reported in a statement saying that Vlaming was fired due to insubordination. “I can’t think of a worse way to treat a child than what was happening,” said West Point High Principal Jonathan Hochman, who testified about letting Vlaming know he had to use male pronouns in accordance with the student’s wishes.
Regardless of race, religion, or sexual preference+ don’t we all fall under basic human rights as human beings? The thought of some how giving certain groups of people ‘human rights’ that we all don’t share doesn’t sound like human rights at all, is it? At what point does self identification stop being, self identification and becomes an ideology that is forced on everyone regardless of how they may feel? Persecution, bullying, or injustice against anyone for any reason is wrong but there’s a fine line between letting someone live their life and forcing everyone to agree with their life. The Question everyone should ask themselves is it really a crime or legally acceptable to fine a person, to jail a person for the misuse of pronouns or their held beliefs. Is the Government going to far in creating an inclusive world for the LGBTQ community that it’s forgotten we all don’t live the same way but should be able to coexist? Is the LGBT community above all other groups including religious groups? Can Jack Phillips, who refused to bake a cake because of his beliefs now fine the Gay couple $250,000 for attacking his faith or does it only apply to the LGBT community members? It seems like the LGBTQ community is favored and protected by Laws and Rights that the majority of us as citizens are not granted. When this reaches your door step, your church, your class room and it imposes itself into your life is that really letting ‘YOU’ live your life? Ironically Tolerance and letting people live their life is what LGBT advocates for until it doesn’t agree with LGBT.
Britain, Brexit – Nigel Farage announced his return to British politics on Friday in a Telegraph article entitled “The time has come to teach the political class a lesson: I’m back fighting for a real Brexit,” where he pledged “to give Leave Means Leave my absolute and total support. I will help them to raise funds and will go back on the road to campaign once again.” In the article, he also labelled the Chequers statement as a “betrayal”, a document delineating Conservative PM Theresa May’s suggestions for the future relationship between the United Kingdom and the European Union.
Farage is especially known for his Euroscepticism, having left the Conservative party in 1992 after they signed the Maastricht Treaty, and becoming a founding member of the United Kingdom Independence Party. In 1999, he was elected as a Member of European Parliament (MEP) and was subsequently reelected in 2004, 2009 and 2014, causing countless controversies in the parliament through his numerous rants about the flaws of the EU. He summarized his views on the EU as follows:
Post-1949, there was some sensible ideas put together, namely, the Council of Europe. Let’s have a Europe where we sit down together, where we have a free-trade agreement, minimum standards on work, on the environment… We can do all of these things without a European Commission, without a European Parliament, and without a European Court of Justice. Yes, it’ll mean you’ll lose your job, Mr Barosso [11th President of the European Commission], but apart from that, why can’t we do things as mature democracies? Yes, I want you sacked Mr Schultz as well, I want you all fired. We can do those things, and that is a positive way forward. Taking away from people the ability to govern themselves, and transferring that power to the European Commission, we’re headed for a Europe of rebellion and violence. Let’s take the democratic route.
“I want you all fired,” he declared to the EP in 2011.
After 52% of Brits voted to leave the European Union in 2016, he spoke before the European Commission again, asserting “Isn’t it funny, that when I came here seventeen years ago, and I said that I wanted to lead a campaign to get Britain to leave the European Union, you all laughed at me! Well, I have to say, you’re not laughing now, are you?” Farage has thereby been perceived as having had a large impact on the results in 2016, ranked 2nd “most influential Right-winger” by the Telegraph in October 2013, and named “Briton of the Year” in 2014. After he resigned as leader of UKIP in 2016, he hasn’t been particularly influential in British politics, outside of his op-eds and podcast/radio show on London Broadcasting Corporation. In 2017, he also became a contributor on Fox News, where he additionally comments on American issues, promoting Trump and was in July one of the proponents of him earning the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to bring better relations between North- and South Korea. Yesterday, he asserted he’s coming back to British politics:
Over the last few months, and particularly since the Chequers betrayal, scores of people have stopped me in the street to ask: “When are you coming back?”
Well now you have your answer: I’m back.
Back in the game of British politics, ready to make an influence on Britain to move it back in the right direction for a “real” Brexit. But whither does this direction lead? What will his return entail for the future of Brexit?
Farage describes the organizers of Leave Means Leave, Richard Tice and John Longworth to be “principled businessmen” who see “Brexit as the ultimate opportunity to regain some national self-confidence, to restore our democracy and to make us all richer and more successful by going global. They want to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit that burns so brightly in millions of men and women.” On their website, they assert that “Unequivocally, Leave means leaving the Single Market, leaving the customs union and UK courts no longer being subservient to the European Court of Justice.” Chequers do not mean Brexit, they say, for its suggestions do not meet these criteria.
Leave Means Leave logo
Leave Means Leave was established in July 2016 in the aftermath of the Brexit vote as a political pressure group campaigning and lobbying for “a clean Brexit.” “This week,” says Farage, “it declared plans to re-launch the referendum campaign up and down the country.” The founders explained on Thursday,
When we set up Leave Means Leave after the referendum, we thought it might be needed for six months. We hoped that we could trust the Government to do the job they had been instructed to do by the British people. People knew what they were voting for. They dismissed the ridiculous scaremongering of Project Fear and voted in the largest numbers ever to leave the EU.
Crucially, this will be a nationwide effort, not an intellectual exercise from air-conditioned offices in London. We want to take our campaign to the people. So many ordinary voters feel let down by their MPs.
The next six months will determine the future direction of our country. It is nothing less than a Battle for Britain. Do we want to remain handcuffed to an outdated, protectionist bullying bureaucracy as a vassal state? Or do we want to be a bold, ambitious trading nation, retaking our rightful place on the global stage as a strong independent country, enjoying the significant economic benefits that flow from a proper Brexit?
With Farage’s “absolute and total support,” Leave Means Leave is sure to get a boost of influence considering his reach and reputation (for instance, he has 68 times as many followers on Twitter as them), but is the British public open to their message? According to the latest annual British Social Attitudes report by the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen Social Research), the party most against “allowing free movement of people in return for free trade in the EU” is, unsurprisingly, UKIP, at 67%, but they also have a large minority of 40% in the Conservative Party to appeal to, though its leader was the architect of the Chequers Statement.
Leave Means Leave know their base, and what they stand for, but as they weren’t sufficient in the aftermath of the Brexit referendum, is it reasonable to expect that things will now turn out differently? Is Farage the steroid they need to win the race for the future of Brexit, and can he make them sufficient for achieving this goal? Or will they again be overhauled by the political establishment they consider to be indifferent to the wishes of the British majority?
The European Parliament Committee on Legal Affairs just voted ‘yes’ on highly controversial segments of the EU’s new Copyright Reform laws, a topic that’s been hotly debated in the past week. The controversial articles — 11 and 13 — effectively establish web link tax, censorship machines, and a ban on memes. This is a brazen assault on the freedom of speech for continental Europeans, masked in a format of protecting “copyrighted content” a direct attack against the right-wing opposition voice on the internet that has been successfully implementing the use of memes for the past several years.
There was an incredible amount of resistance to the contested articles from internet activists, technocrats, and members of European Parliament (MEPs), but all the appeals were rendered to no avail and the articles passed with a 13:12 and 15:10 majority.
Article 11 forces all usage with portions of online journalistic content be required to obtain a license from the original publisher first. Possibly even affecting the act of hyperlinking articles, causing significant drops in audience reach of news posts. A quick summary of the article 13 include demands made to “internet society service providers” such as Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and Google to utilize content recognition tools to “prevent the availability” of copyrighted content from appearing online in the form of plagiarism and other forms of copyright violations. After a planned debate between the EU politicians today, both articles had its legitimacy acknowledged and endorsed by the European Union, much to the displeasure of all free thinkers around the world. If these laws come to affect, it would render all internet meme remixers out of their existence, the meme is a very powerful medium often directed at communicating complex political concepts at younger people. The Creative Commons official twitter page fired back at EU’s decision to adopt article 11 and article 13, calling it: “ – a dark day for the open web, but the fight will continue in the upcoming plenary vote in the European Parliament. #SaveYourInternet #SaveTheLink #FixCopyright”
Contact European Parliment members to voice your protest via this petition here
Don’t lose hope just yet. The European Parliament Committees’ decision today does not immediately put this copyright reform into action in the legal form, however. The controversial article laws would be effective in further solidifying the EU’s stance on the distribution of copyrighted content around the globe, holding massive sway in potential future actions addressing this issue. “Article 13 has been adopted by European Parliament legal committee with a 15:10 majority. Again: We will take this fight to plenary and still hope to #SaveYourInternet” – Julia Reda, MEP for the European Pirate Party called for continuous resistance after the articles were passed. The people of Europe won’t give up their freedom to expressive themselves on the internet without a fight. The gun is on the table.
Italy’s brand new right wing interior minister takes a hardline stance on refugees, “pack your bags”- he says to the journalists as he travels down to the southern region of Sicily today. Matteo Salvini of the populist Lega party, freshly off the election victory, seeks to deliver the campaign promise he made to the Italian people by decreasing the number of refugees being accepted into the country and increase the number of expulsions. Port towns in Sicily are the epicenters of this “migrant” invasion not only into Italy but through bypassing the country, they have been making way to other EU nations (Germany, Sweden) after their initial landing thanks to globalist “humanitarian” efforts.
“The good times for illegals is over — get ready to pack your bags,” he said Saturday at a rally in Italy’s north.
“Countries need to start doing their job and no more smugglers should be docking in Italian ports.” – He directed this at the dozens of NGO organizations conducting search and rescues at sea, often complicit in aiding people smugglers.
An important battle must be won in Italy, to put a stop into this blatant population replacement the EU deep-state has been pushing upon Europeans. Merkel and the mainstream media in Europe has already been exposed countless times during the refugee crisis. Initially, the narrative being pushed was, poor and needy families fleeing the war turned out to be nothing more than opportunistic economic migrants that paid human traffickers for a ticket into the European welfare states. The vast majority of these refugees (more commonly by the mainstream media as “migrants”) are not even from the alleged war torn countries of Libya and Syria. Instead, it’s mostly military-aged men from sub saharan Africa and central asian Muslim countries like Afghanistan. These refugees just so happen to be more prone to commit violent crimes, rightfully making the citizens of Italy feel concerned about these new people in their neighborhoods, as there is no possible way to perform background checks on them. One of the more extreme examples of migrant crime happened earlier this year when a teenage Italian girl was chopped up into pieces by a Nigerian refugee.
The latest one of these humanitarian boats arrived in Sicily on Friday, carrying more than 150 people, just hours after Salvini sworn in as the minister. It must be made clear that such cases are happening in very high volumes reaching incredibly absurd numbers- a total of 700,000 refugees have arrived in Italy this way since 2013, currently, 170,000 are in asylums centers, wasting away billions of taxpayers’ money annually. Only 6500 deportations were made last year.
It has been a rather historical week for Israel so far in the wake of Trump’s controversial decision to move the American Embassy in the country to Jerusalem. Celebrations and criticism have engulfed entire media platforms even amongst conservatives, due to the nature of the response that the Israeli defense force has taken to subdue the Palestinian protesters – resulting in more than 60 dead and thousands injured. However, let us explore another story that happened earlier this week which will surely invoke some interesting emotions when it comes to discussing the uncomfortable truths of Israel’s foreign policy strategy.
Obese Israeli SJW wins Eurovision
There are many reasons to have mixed feelings over this year’s Eurovision song contest: First, Israel, a non-European nation just won Eurovision for the 4th time, by pandering to the show’s overwhelmingly liberal audience with repulsive neo-Marxist ideas. The obese Jewish pop singer Netta Barzilai preaches about themes such as “fat is beautiful” and “diversity is strength” on and off the stage. The sheer shock of this victory is further amplified by the stark contrast of how we all normally view Israel; a conservative state that has always been strongly against such false modern values in the name of equality and progress.
“The song has an important message — the awakening of female power and social justice, wrapped in a colorful, happy vibe,” Barzilai was quoted as saying by Eurovision site wiwibloggs last week. The trending video of her performance has since garnered a mostly negative rating with 367,000 dislikes. Her song “Toy” was said to have been inspired by the Hollywood Feminist #metoo movement.
A classic example of “Ethnostate for me but not for thee”
There’s no more curious case in international relations today than the phenomenon of Israel, a Jewish state with many sound policies that serves its people and put them before anyone else. The West certainly has a lot to learn in regards to maintaining a functional socially conservative society, something that Israel has managed to achieve in the face of modern “Progressivism”. Yet at the same time, it pushes internationalist policies onto other nations that would simply not fly in their own country. To put it into perspective, left-wing Israelis frequently express the state-sanctioned suppression of LGBT and feminist activists in their country yet somehow when the singer that is officially chosen by Israel to represent itself on the international stage is allowed to openly preach the polar opposite what the Israeli government advocates among their own populations. To connect the dots even further, we can draw the conclusion that all this marxist view of social justice and gender equality Netta talks about in her song is very much connected with multiculturalism, a problem being especially relevant in Europe today. Food for thought; why would a country where non-jews have zero hope to immigrate to, where refugees from Africa gets deported by force, essentially an ethnostate in every sense of the word, would support multiculturalism happening in Europe?
Her victory in the name of “social justice” has been endorsed at an institutional level by the Prime Minister of Israel: “These days Jerusalem is being blessed with many gifts,” Netanyahu said on social media.
“We received another one last night with Netta’s thrilling and suspenseful victory. The gift is that Eurovision will come to Jerusalem next year; we will be very proud to host it.”
